Our faculty member Lecturer Havva Nur YEŞİLDAĞ participated as an invited speaker in the conference titled “The Role of Foreign Languages in Academic Life and Effective Language Learning Strategies,” organized by the Arabic Language Community at Ondokuz Mayıs University.
The conference addressed key topics such as goal setting in language learning, effective learning strategies, and study techniques. Participants were also provided with practical study materials in the target language. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of foreign language proficiency in both academic and personal development processes.
At the end of the conference, a fun and engaging quiz based on the conference content was held, and winners were awarded. Additionally, to promote sustainable motivation in language learning, 'A one-month Language Learning Challenge' was launched with voluntary participants, encouraging them to develop consistent study habits in their target language.
